VE Day Celebrations in Pershore

Join a Shared Moment of Celebration with the Royal British Legion and Pershore Town Council leading in celebrating the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe on 8th May 2025.

11am: Chapman Court for a shared moment of celebration

11:15am: Light refreshments at the Town Hall

8pm: Celebrations leading up the the lighting of the beacon, in Abbey Park, Pershore

9pm: Lighting of the Beacon

Come and celebrate ‘Victory in Europe‘s 80th Anniversary in Pershore on Thursday 8th May from 8pm.

Take a walk down to Abbey Park and enjoy a nice hot drink from Really Awesome Coffee Worcester and a cheeky epic brownie from Oh for Cake Sake and watch our beacon lighting at 9pm to represent this momentous event in our history.

There will also be some entertainment before the lighting.

This event is free and not one to miss, come down and support Pershore in their celebration.
