Bookbinding Workshop at Three Little Pigs, Birlingham.

Join us for this fascinating workshop and learn the skills required to make your very own book, a journal.

The Details:
Bookbinding is both a traditional and very beautiful craft, using simple techniques to create stunning ‘works of art’. During the workshop, your experienced tutor will guide you through the making process to create your journal, the style of which is known as exposed spine binding. There will even be a choice of fabrics for you to choose from for the front and back covers of your journal, which will measure approximately 15.5cm x 11cm x 2.5cm. This workshop is suitable for complete beginners. By the end of the workshop, as well as heading home with your journal, you will have the skills and know-how to make many more journals for friends and family.

The workshop will run from 10.00am until 4.00pm, with a pause for a ploughman-style lunch. Your lunch and all the materials to make your journal will be provided, as will a workshop apron for you to wear during your day. Discover the joys of bookbinding and forever have fancy books to write in!
