Painted & Free-motion Stitched Floral Collage

Theresa will guide you through a range of techniques to create this vibrant floral artwork. Learn how to create a textured background by applying fabric scraps, old lace and crochet pieces, this textured background will then be painted with acrylic paints. Free-motion stitch will be used to enhance the floral shapes and create leaves. Each piece of art will work will be completely individual. A good knowledge of free-motion stitch will be required to participate in this workshop. Students are asked to bring their own machines which will require a machine where the feed dogs can be dropped. An embroidery or darning foot and bobbins suitable for your own machine will also be and required. All other materials, tools and an apron will be provided. Refreshments will be provided but please bring your own lunch (approx. 30min)

The course is 5 hrs 30 mins and costs £75
