Pershore Events and Festivals Association
A Pershore Place Board initiative, sponsored by Wychavon District Council and supported Pershore Town Council.
This is a collaborative group, comprising chairs of Pershore events and festivals and other stakeholders who work together to deliver high profile, professional events in Pershore, delivered by the people of Pershore for the people of Pershore and to attract visitors to the town.
The association places a priority on supporting the local economy, to be principally achieved by supporting businesses and organisations local to Pershore, by promoting tourism to Pershore and by placing an emphasis on “locally sourced”.
PEFA exists to predominantly support community led, not-for-profit events and festivals taking place on publicly owned land in Pershore. Privately operated events and festivals taking place on private land within Pershore are not excluded from membership of PEFA but will be required to a pay a contribution towards the use of PEFA resources.
